We’re so excited you’ve chosen to
take the first step towards
Accelerate College!
As with most new ventures in life, you might be feeling a bit nervous or overwhelmed. That’s completely normal. We’re here to help and guide you through this process.
The first step in applyinging is scheduling an appointment with our admissions coordinator. This will be an opportunity to meet you, hear about your needs and goals and answer any questions you may have about Accelerate. Once we’ve had the chance to meet, we’ll send you the rest of the application package.
And because we don’t operate on a traditional semester schedule, you can start whenever you are ready. Apply and within days of your acceptance you could be starting your apprenticeship journey with Accelerate.
In the meantime, we’ll need a few pieces of information from you. If you want to start gathering these, it would help expedite the process as these typically can take a few weeks to come in.
Transcripts
If you’re currently in high school or a post-secondary institution, please send an interim grade report or unofficial transcript for preliminary review. Official transcripts must follow as soon as possible.
Request official transcripts from your high school and any post-secondary institutions you’ve attended. These must be sent directly to Rocky Mountain College from the issuing institution or provincial/state Department of Education.
For Home-Schooled Students: If you’ve completed high school without provincial confirmation, you may be admitted on academic probation for your first five courses.
Instead of a provincial transcript, submit a portfolio that includes:
Two graded Grade 12 assignments: one research paper and one essay.
A letter of recommendation from a qualified educator (if possible).
Personal References
Email this link (Confidential Reference Form) to your chosen referees. They can complete the form online and submit it directly to RMC.
You’ll need:
A reference from a pastor or church leader where you attend.
A reference from a mature Christian who has known you for at least one year. (not a family member, boyfriend, or girlfriend)
